These terms apply to all services provided by Car Mechanic, including in-workshop and doorstep car repair and maintenance. By contacting us or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
Our mechanics aim to diagnose and repair the reported issue to the best of their ability.
In some cases, if a vehicle cannot be repaired, we will inform you in advance.
We do not guarantee repairs where spare parts are unavailable, or where there is excessive or irreparable damage.
After vehicle inspection, we may provide a cost estimate for the repair or service.
The estimate may change based on the actual condition of the vehicle or availability of parts.
If the customer declines the service after diagnosis, a nominal inspection/diagnosis fee may apply.
We use genuine or high-quality compatible spare parts, depending on availability.
Spare parts may carry a limited warranty, which will be specified at the time of service.
We are not responsible for customer-supplied spare parts that fail or cause additional issues.
Payment is due upon completion of the service.
We accept payments via cash, UPI, bank transfer, or other agreed modes.
For onsite/doorstep repairs, full payment is required immediately after the successful completion of the repair.
We offer a limited service warranty for specific repairs, typically between 7–30 days (as informed during service).
The warranty applies only to the specific issue originally repaired and does not cover:
Physical damage
Accidents or misuse
Electrical faults caused by third-party work
Car Mechanic is not liable for any loss, damage, or further issues arising due to prior damage, third-party interference, or negligence by the vehicle owner.
You may cancel a service request before a mechanic has been dispatched.
Once work has begun, cancellations are not accepted, and no refunds will be issued for completed services.
Refunds for faulty parts or unsatisfactory service will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and reported issues.
Ensure a safe and accessible environment for our mechanics during doorstep visits.
Remove personal belongings or valuables from the vehicle before handing it over for repair.
Car Mechanic reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after such changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
